Welcome
Welcome to Cape Cod Lavender Farm, a place of serene beauty and healthy living for the senses. While visiting, you will enjoy a peaceful escape while exploring our grounds, from the enchanted garden to the fields of lavender. An idyllic setting of natural landscape awaits. The annual harvest in Late June/July provides an abundance of lavender that inspires home and body products that will warm and cleanse the soul.
Upon Arrival
Visiting: We welcome more than 10,000 visitors per year to our farm, including artists, writers, photographers, and individuals wishing to learn and experience the wonders of lavender on Cape Cod.
Come enjoy a stroll around the Farm (for free - we do not issue tickets), visit our gift shop, and relax among the fragrant fields. Parking at peak times can be a challenge; we just ask that you operate with kindness and patience.
Bathrooms: Please note that we do not have a restroom.
Dogs: We do not allow dogs on the property for protection of the land and plants and to keep the peace. (If you see one or two vivacious pups, they belong to our owner on-site). There are many quiet, remote conservation trails surrounding the area that are lovely for a walk.
And if you can't make it to the grounds, we encourage you to check out our lavender products in our online shop to tide you over.
Photographers: We allow pre-planned and pre-approved photography sessions after hours (after 4:00PM). Twilight is quite beautiful in late June/July among the fields. There is a $75 fee per session. Call us or Email us for more information and to book.
Food on site: Upon arrival you will see that we are a small, family-owned farm who live on the premises. We appreciate that visitors do not set up picnics or bring food. We are happy to provide local suggestions for places to eat, such as The Seal, or Ruggies, both located less than half a mile down the road.
PS: We are working on future offerings such as ice cream; stay tuned!
Offerings
Our offerings will delight your senses, excite your palate, and beautify your home. Explore the wide-ranging uses of lavender, from food and drink (our lavender lemonade is quite refreshing!), to body and home in our herbs de Provence, lavender bath salts, lavender essential oil, soaps, and washes. (We're told our lavender body butter is the best hand cream around!)
The Many Uses of Lavender
A simple whiff can make your days less stressful and more enjoyable. When you inhale the fragrance of lavender, the natural oils help you sleep more soundly, regain a sense of calmness, and relieve stress. Take deep breaths of our lavender and soy candles on rainy days, dab lavender essential oil on your pulse points before you go to sleep, or squeeze a freshly picked bunch of lavender. Each can make a great difference in the day.
The Harvest
During harvest time in late June and early July, the beauty of the fields in bloom at the Cape Cod Lavender Farm is truly spectacular. It is bustling with activity. Fresh lavender is picked by our staff and sold in baskets or bunches, or shaken to collect buds that are filled with everlasting fragrant oils. We are uplifted by the entire process, along with the joy it brings to our visitors. We sell our fresh bunches, and thereafter dried bunches, until they sell out (which typically, is quite fast!)
We hope to see you at the farm soon. Namaste.
