Cod Lavender Farm sells varieties of lavender that are hardy on
cape and zones along eastern seaboard. Zones 5 and 6.
HIDCOTE
(lavender angustifolia)
Our most popular seller. Deep purple in color. Height 2' in full
bloom. Bloom time late June into July. Has second bloom in the fall
if trimmed back in summer after flowering.
MUNSTEAD
(lavandula angustifolia)
Very popular. Lighter purple in color. Height 2' in full bloom.
Bloom time late June early July.
JEAN
DAVIS (lavandula angustifolia)
Color pale pink. Very sweet fragrance. Height 2' in bloom. Bloom
time late June early July.
VERA
(lavandula angustifolia)
Color purple. Very fragrant. 2-3' in bloom. Bloom time July.
PROVENCE
(lavendula x intermedia 'Provence')
Color purple or white, very tall. Long flower spike. Very fragrant.
Good for making Llavender wands. Bloom time June and July.
GROSSO
(lavendula x intermedia 'Grosso')
Color purple. Large 3" flower spike. Long stem. Height 3'in
full bloom. Good for making lavender wands.
TWICKLE
PURPLE (lavandula angustifolia)
Nice shape. Gray/green foliage. Long spike. 2-3' in full bloom.
Makes a good low hedge.
